Ginger

Ginger sweets are brown soft gum cubes with a ginger flavour, finished with a layer of sugar. The taste is warm and spicy: ginger gives that characteristic slight heat at the back of the throat, which makes this a more grown-up sweet than the fruity varieties in our range. The sugar coating tempers that heat just enough. Ginger sweets have long been valued for an unsettled stomach and while travelling, and remain a product people come looking for deliberately rather than on impulse. Made with gum arabic instead of gelatine.
