Crosses

Liquorice crosses are black hard gums in small squares with a cross pressed into the surface, with a mint flavour. The combination of black liquorice and mint is unusual but works well: the mint brings freshness to what would otherwise be a heavy, dark flavour. Because the gum is firm, that flavour is released slowly and a single sweet lasts a long time. Together with our black hammers, the crosses form the mint side of our black gum range, each with its own pressed motif.
