Mendiants

Our mendiants are round discs of dark and milk chocolate, topped with raisins and an assortment of nuts. The name goes back to the four mendicant orders of the Middle Ages, whose habit colours were reflected in the four classic ingredients: raisin, hazelnut, almond and fig. It's one of the oldest forms of chocolate work and at the same time the most visual, since every disc looks different. Contains nuts.
