Salty

Salty liquorice is a black hard liquorice gum in a lozenge shape with a salty liquorice flavour. It's the firm counterpart to our double salt: the same salty direction, but in a hard gum that dissolves slowly rather than a semi-soft one that gives its flavour at once. The salt therefore builds gradually and lingers longer. For anyone used to salty liquorice, this is the variety that lasts longest. Newcomers are better off starting with one of our sweet varieties.
