Black mices

Black mice are soft black gums shaped like mice with cabo medicalis, a herbal flavour also found in our drawing pins and diamonds. It's one of the older flavours in the Belgian sweet tradition: herbal, lightly medicinal and clearly different from fruit or liquorice. Together with our ordinary mice and black rats they belong to the animal range found in every sweet shop for generations. The soft gum releases the flavour immediately. Made with gum arabic instead of gelatine.
