High-quality Ceylon teas are known for their rich, firm, robust taste and aroma. This decaffeinated Ceylon is lighter in taste and body due to the processing, but retains more of its natural quality than tea due to other decaffeinated methods.

CO2 decaffeination is a time consuming and expensive process designed to remove as much caffeine as possible while retaining a more pure tea flavor than other more aggressive decaffeination methods. It is also achieved without the use of harsh chemicals such as synthetic ethyl acetate.

Decaffeinating does not remove all the caffeine from the tea! This Ceylon Decaf is a "lower caffeine" option; people with severe caffeine sensitivities may want to consider natural decaffeinated options such as Rooibos, fruit infusions, or herbal infusions
