Almonds dragees

Our almond dragees are whole almonds with a hard sugar coating. It's one of the oldest confections there is: sugared almonds were handed out at feasts as far back as Roman times, and in our regions they have become the gift of choice for a birth or christening. The hard sugar shell cracks under the teeth and then releases the crisp almond. Contains nuts.
