Double salty

Double salt liquorice is a semi-soft liquorice with a pronounced salty taste. Salt here is not an accent but the main feature: where sweet liquorice keeps the liquorice flavour gentle, double salt states it sharply, with the characteristic tingle that enthusiasts are looking for. The semi-soft texture means the flavour spreads immediately rather than being released slowly. This is deliberately not a sweet for everyone: anyone unfamiliar with salty liquorice is better off starting with one of our sweet liquorice varieties.
