Italian licorice

Italian liquorice sticks are soft liquorice tubes of about three centimetres, with a sweet liquorice flavour. Unlike our hard boiled liquorice sticks, these are supple and flexible: you chew them rather than suck on them, so the liquorice flavour is released immediately.
