Guimauve with anis

Kloefkes are soft brown marshmallows with an anise flavour, shaped like a clog. The name is Ghent dialect for little clog, and the shape refers to it directly. Marshmallow is lighter and softer than our gums: the mass is beaten until foamy, so the sweet almost melts on the tongue. The anise flavour adds a spiced note that makes the whole less sugary than a classic marshmallow. Kloefkes are made with gelatine and are therefore not vegan, unlike most of our range.
