Mokatine

Mokatine is a hard caramel with a coffee flavour, named after mocha. Where our hopjes are the classic Dutch coffee caramel, mokatine sits closer to espresso: the coffee note is more direct and less woven into the toasted caramel. Because the caramel is hard, the sweet dissolves slowly and the flavour stays present, which makes it well suited as a finish after a meal. Mokatine contains dairy and is therefore not vegan.
