Mint tears

Mint teardrops are small white hard boiled mint sweets in a teardrop shape. They're the smaller, plain counterpart to our mint cushions: the same clear mint flavour, but without the pink stripe and in a finer size. That smaller size makes them suited to taking several in a row and to presenting in small dishes with coffee or at the till. Because the sweet isn't boiled to the hardest point, it dissolves readily and the freshness is there at once.
