Orangettes

Our orangettes are strips of candied orange peel, coated in our dark chocolate with 72% cocoa. The candying takes days: the peel is gradually saturated with sugar syrup until it becomes supple and translucent, while retaining its bitter side. It's precisely that bitterness which makes the pairing with dark chocolate so strong, as both elements reinforce rather than drown each other. Orangettes are among the classics of French and Belgian chocolate work and are plant-based, which is rarely the case with chocolate products.
