Pâte de fruits mini fruits

Pâte de fruits fruit shapes are fruit pastes cast in the form of miniature fruits, in various colours and flavours. The shape points straight to the fruit you taste, which makes the assortment instantly readable on a platter or in a box. Otherwise it's the same preparation as our square pâte de fruits: fruit cooked down with sugar into a firm, lightly setting paste, finished in sugar. This version is the more decorative of the two and is therefore often chosen as a gift.
