Gingerbred heart

Our gingerbread heart is baked to our family recipe in the shape of a heart. The heart shape has a long history in the gingerbread tradition: at fairs and annual markets, a gingerbread heart was given for generations as a token of affection, often with a name or a message on it. That tradition lives on. As a gift it works immediately: it's recognisable, personal and carries a story that goes beyond the taste alone.
