Japanese Sencha is one of the most popular green teas in the world and a cornerstone of Japanese tea culture. Unlike Chinese green tea, Sencha is steamed rather than roasted, which preserves its fresh, grassy character and gives it a lighter, more delicate taste.
The leaves are carefully rolled into needle-like shapes after steaming. When steeped, they unfurl completely, producing a bright yellow infusion with a refreshing aroma.
Japanese Sencha is naturally rich in antioxidants and contains caffeine. A perfect tea for daily use and a favorite for those who appreciate a pure, vegetal flavor.
