Speculoos

Our speculoos is baked with butter and the spice blend that gives this biscuit its unmistakable flavour: cinnamon first, joined by nutmeg, clove and ginger. Butter is not a detail here but the foundation: it provides the brittle structure and the fullness that set speculoos apart from an ordinary spiced biscuit. Traditionally tied to the feast of Saint Nicholas, in Belgium it's served with coffee all year round.
