Macedoine

This gingerbread is baked with honey and a mixture of candied fruit to our family recipe. Macedoine refers to that fruit mixture: several kinds of fruit through the same dough, so every slice gives a different combination. The candied fruit brings concentrated sweetness and colour while keeping the cake moist. It's the richest variant in our gingerbread range and the most festive to put on the table.
